Soap Making Class

In this class, you will make your own soap, from scratch, using the cold process method.  The soap that you will take home is equal to two large bars.

Under the guidance of Becky Rippelmeyer, a soap maker with 15 years of experience, you will learn the soap making process from start to finish including, soap making safety, ingredient properties, soap fragrance, etc.  You willl choose from several scents & "extra" ingredients for your unique soap.

​We recommend you wear old clothes (an apron will be provided).  And because you are working with sodium hydroxide (lye) you must provide your own safety glasses.  (You will need these again when you make more soap at home! ) The cost of the class is $75.  Due to high demand and the limited space we ask that you register and pay in advance.  - Saturday, April 22nd from 1-3.
