In this class, you will make your own soap from scratch  using the cold process method  (equivalent to 2 large bars).  
Under the guidance of Becky Ripplemeyer, a soap maker with 13 years experience, you will learn the soap making process from start to finish including, soap making safety, ingredient properties, soap fragrance, etc.  You will choose from several scents and "extra" ingredients for your unique soap.  

We recommend you wear old clothes (an apron will be provided.)

Because we are working with sodium hydroxide (lye) you must provide your own safety glasses (you will need these again when you make soap at home!) Safety glasses can be found at most hardware stores, Walmart, etc. at a nominal cost.

For your safety, you will only be able to participate in the class when wearing safety glasses.  (sorry, but normal eyeglasses do NOT count.)

Learn to make your very own homemade soap created entirely from scratch, with food-grade vegetable oils.  In this basic soap class, Becky will share her knowledge gained from 15 years of making soap.  All materials are included and you will take home two of your very own handmade soaps!  Older clothing is suggested.  One 2 hour session

Artist, Sharon Wisely, will expertly guide you through the jewelry making process.  In this 1.5 to 2 hour class, you will make a pair of domed, copper disk earrings with a texture of your choice.  All supplies are included and you will take home a pair of unique earrings created by you!  Limit 6 to a class.  $35.
