Heirloom Soaps

We personally make every batch of soap from scratch in our soap studio.

Family and friends serve as testers for our handmade soaps, lotions, and whatever bath & body goodies we come up with.

Honest feedback helps us tweak & perfect recipes and formulas, to ensure that you receive only “the best of the best” for your skin.

Visit us on the Second Floor of the Tiadaghton House!

About the Artist:
Becky Rippelmeyer, Belleville, IL

Grandma Mabel  spoke of making her own lye soap “in the old days”, so the idea of making soap wasn’t completely foreign to me growing up.   As an adult I fell in love with homemade soap, and how soft and smooth it left my skin.  After buying a bar of handmade soap that irritated my skin, I decided to try making soap myself.  I read several soap making books and gave it a try.  I was hooked on the process from the very first batch!

Check out my work and visit us at the Tiadaghton House!
