Scolarici Arts

My paintings are about the joy, pleasure, and fun found in life.  I try to capture these emotions and feelings through creative images, simple still lifes, and florals.  Art has always been my passion; the act of painting brings me joy.  My goal is to make the viewer feel that same joy.

Now you can SHOP ONLINE  for my work 24/7.

About the Artist:
Alicia Scolarici, O'Fallon, IL

My goal is not to repeat reality, but to recreate the feeling of joy through the use of oil and acrylics.  I take simple objects that represent moments in life and use color relationships to depict different moods.  In my art and life, color is supreme.  I usually implement warm reds, oranges, and yellows which radiate fun, cozy, humorous feelings and passion everyone can enjoy.  In many paintings I build layers of paint, found objects, and resin to create abstract images with depth.
